Troubleshooting Login for Binti
How agency workers can access the SSO page from the family.binti.com home screen:
Option 1: From the https://family.binti.com login screen they may select the “Sign in with agency SSO” link.

Option 2: Workers can go directly to the SSO login page by going to: https://family.binti.com/login_via_sso
Either via Option 1 or Option 2, workers should reach the screen with the words “Sign in with agency SSO” (see screenshot above).
Once workers reach the “Sign in with agency SSO” page, they should:
- Select the “Log in with <Your Agency Name>” button.
- Log in by entering their Microsoft AD credentials and Microsoft MFA access code (or answer phone if that option is enabled).
- If Microsoft is not used, then users enter the primary credentials which they use for their agency.
If an agency worker receives a “Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in” message:
Microsoft error message: AADSTS50105
If an agency worker receives a message like the one above please verify that the user account for the agency worker is assigned to the Azure AD SSO group that has permission to access Binti. Instructions to do this is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/active-directory/error-code-aadsts50105-user-not-assigned-role
If an agency worker receives a “No user matching email […]” message:
Binti error message: No user matching email [email address] for <Agency Name>
If an agency worker receives a message like the one above this means that their user account exists in Azure AD SSO group, however, their user account has not yet been provisioned within Binti. Please verify with their supervisor and/or IT Security that this agency worker has permission to access Binti, then contact their Help Desk to request access to be granted.
If an agency does not use Microsoft/ADFS for their SSO provider:
- Please provide a screenshot of the error that is provided and submit to Binti support chat
If an agency worker is unable to access Binti because of a Microsoft Office 365 login issue:
If an agency worker is unable to access Binti because of a Microsoft Office 365 login issue they should request for their Office 365 password to be reset by the Agency Help Desk.
Some common examples of Microsoft Office 365 login issues:
- Not knowing username/password combination
- Microsoft Office 365 password being expired
How do I determine which Role/Permissions to assign to an agency worker when creating a new Binti account?:
Binti does not decide the specific Role/Permission for staff. Please work with the agency worker’s manager or supervisor to discuss which role/permission is best for the agency worker’s role.
